Event 2 – Registration, Speakers & Workshops

Registration is now open for the second UoE Open Knowledge Network event which will take place on Friday 28th April in Argyle House, University of Edinburgh.

The event will feature a morning of talks and discussions followed by hands on workshops and demonstrations in the afternoon.

Morning talks will include influence of algorithms on MOOCs – Jeremy Knox, Centre for Research in Digital Education.

  • Thesis Digitisation Initiative – Gavin Wilshaw, University Library & Collections.  
  • UoE Open Data Policy – Wilbert Kraan, Enterprise Architecture. 
  • MOOC developments –  Stuart Nicol, Education Development and Enhancement.
  • Internet of Things project – Ewan Klein, School of Informatics. 
  • OER17 and LILAC conference reports – Charlie Farley, Education Development and Enhancement.
  • International Open Science Conference report – Lorna M. Campbell, LTW.
